Elephants That Are on FIRE

  • Mood:
After my third day in the warehouse, and staring my fourth in the face, I'm still in a good mood. Tired but more relaxed and content. Tuesday there was excessive (even for that job) running around, and then I had to go to Wild Wings at night. Until eleven pm. Last night it was almost like vacation to be able to go home after work instead of to another job.

The only unpleasant part of yesterday was waking up late, I wasn't late for work but I only had a half hour to get ready (shower, eat, make coffee). Plus I like to be able to take my time and wake up slowly. The scary part is that I could have easily overslept and I don't remember turning my alarm off. Usually, when I turn my alarm off in the morning and "accidentally" fall back asleep I remember something--this time, nada. Since being on time for work is now almost the most important part of my day I went back to two alarms. The best solution for this, obviously, is getting to bed earlier, but until that happens....two alarms. I went elsewhere to watch Angel last night, and still had to do two loads of laundry when I got home, which made an excellent excuse to stay up and play Scrabble on line.
